Cruise routes
The most popular routes are the West Route and the North Route, both through the typical Dutch landscape. Because of its build and limited size, the Maria Alberta can also be navigated on the smaller waterways that are off-limits to larger ships. The West Route takes you from Amsterdam to Gouda (cheese), Rotterdam (sea port), Delft (pottery), The Hague (political residence), Leiden (university), Haarlem (historical) and back to Amsterdam. The North Route takes you through the province of North Holland (Purmerend, Broek op Langedijk, Den Helder, Alkmaar) and offers the extra possibility to visit the island Texel by ferry. Both journeys are from Saturday afternoon till Saturday morning. |
